Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said he has received word that Caddo deputies are not needed right away in south Louisiana as requested earlier today. 

Deputies were ready to head south within the hour, but those plans have now been put on hold. The Sheriff's Office remains ready to assist if called, Prator said.
