Clayborne Wittington, 27 of the 1600 block of Holiday Place in Bossier City, was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for felony theft following an investigation by Caddo Detective Robert Presley.

For the past six months, Wittington was stealing electrical wire from his employer and selling the wire to his employer’s customers at a lower cost. The customers were unware the wire was stolen and were convinced by Wittington they were getting it at a discounted rate. Wittington tried to manipulate the paper work in an effort to conceal the theft. The employer lost $4,000 due to the theft.
