Pizza restaurant robbery suspect faces charges in Caddo
One of the suspects wanted for robbing a Rotolo’s Pizza in Bossier Parish is also facing charges in Caddo Parish for taking $24,000 from a family member’s bank account without permission, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Jacory Griffin, 21, was arrested in Shreveport over the weekend for the pizza restaurant robbery and was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center. While in jail at CCC, Griffin was also charged with two counts of identity theft and one count of bank fraud for withdrawing money from his aunt’s account while posing as her husband. The withdrawals occurred in January and May. Griffin told detectives he used the money to buy two vehicles.
The Caddo cases were investigated by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Yomeka Evans and Shreveport Police Detective Robert Webster of the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.
