Caddo Sheriff's Office accepting applications for fall Auxiliary Deputy class

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator announced today that applications are currently being accepted for the fall Auxiliary Deputy class.
Auxiliary Deputies supplement full-time Caddo sheriff’s deputies by volunteering their services to the Sheriff’s Office in a non-enforcement capacity. Graduates are required to complete 72 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours on patrol with a full-time deputy.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have no criminal history, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Applications are due by September 18 and can be obtained by contacting Deputy Kelly Hughes at 681-1113 or at caddosheriff.org by clicking the agency tab. Classes begin October 5.
