A Mooringsport man was arrested Wednesday for crimes against children that occurred as far back as 1997, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

James Tony Jordan, 48, was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Division following an investigation by Det. Trey Keene.

Jordan is charged with one count of aggravated crime against nature for a 2015 incident involving a 4-year-old child. He is also charged with two counts of aggravated incest for a 2011 incident that involved a three year old and a 1997 incident that involved a seven year old.

Jordan was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center. No bond has been set.
