Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw announced the seizure of 30 pounds of marijuana Tuesday from a residence in north Caddo Parish. One person was arrested.

Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit went to the residence in the 1100 block of Saxon Place and contacted the homeowner, Donna L. Stern, 47. During a search of the property, agents discovered a duffel bag containing 30 individual one-pound bags of marijuana hidden in a pickup on the property. The approximate street value of the marijuana is $134,000.

Stern was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. She was booked into Caddo Correctional Center.
