Stonewall man arrested for cyberstalking
Thursday, July 23, 2015
Caddo Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Stonewall man for cyberstalking his ex-girlfriend, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Scott Bailey, 42, was arrested in Desoto Parish on Friday and brought to the Caddo Correctional Center where he was booked on a warrant obtained by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Bobby Herring.
Bailey is accused of sending repeated texts, emails, and Facebook messages to the victim since July 1. The calls and messages averaged 15-20 times a day at all hours and contained harassing, vulgar, and sexual messages, according to Herring. Bailey was advised by the Sheriff’s Office before his arrest to cease contact with the victim, but he ignored those demands.
Bailey’s bond was set at $100,000.
