Sheriff Steve Prator, director of Caddo Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, said Caddo residents can pick up sandbags from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. TODAY  at Caddo Parish Public Works Fleet Services, 1701 Monty Street in Shreveport.

Monday through Friday hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Weather experts say the Red River is now expected to reach 33 feet on Wednesday, some 36 hours earlier than previously forecast.
