Caddo deputies are on the scene of a major traffic accident on I-49 near Flournoy Lucas Road.

Nicholas Blake Anderson, 17, was traveling southbound on the interstate just south of Flournoy Lucas when he lost control of his Jeep Liberty. Anderson overcorrected then traveled through the median and across the northbound lane of traffic before flipping his vehicle into the trees.

Anderson was taken to University Health.

The accident remains under invesitigation by the Caddo Sheriff's Traffic Safety Unit.
