Three suspects arrested for Vivian burglary
Three suspects have been arrested for burglarizing the home of a man in a wheelchair, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
The burglary occurred on January 20 in the 200 block of East Oklahoma in Vivian. The victim was at home when three males entered the house through an unlocked door without permission. The first male told the victim not to move and asked for his money. The suspect then grabbed the wallet and money clip and removed the cash. All three suspects then ran from the house.
Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Donnie Laney said evidence collected at the scene identified the man who took the money as John Smith, Jr., 22. Two juveniles ages 15 and 16 were also identified and arrested. All were booked into jail for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Smith was also charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
