Man arrested for stalking woman at fitness center
A Shreveport man was arrested for stalking on Wednesday after he admitted following a woman into the dressing room at her fitness club, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
The victim was alone at the 24-hour club and was taking a shower when she heard the door to the dressing room open and saw a hand on the shower curtain. The curtain never fully opened, and the person left.
Sheriff’s Detective Andy Scoggins viewed security video and identified the suspect as Carl Douglas Anderson Jr., 22, of the 1000 block of Wheeler Drive. The video showed Wheeler entering the building through a rear door and entering the ladies dressing room.
Anderson admitted watching the victim and other women at the business for the past two weeks. He was arrested for unauthorized entry of a business and stalking, and was booked at the Caddo Correctional Center.
