A mother, father, and son were sent to jail by Caddo Sheriff’s deputies for providing a haven of sex, drugs, and alcohol for underage teens.

Melissa Greenwalt, 42, Robert “Bob” Greenwalt, 50, and Cole Greenwalt, 17, were arrested at their residence at 8223 Dance Drive in Keithville after deputies received complaints of illegal activity at the house.

Sheriff’s Detective Dorothy Brooks investigated the case and said for the past year Melissa Greenwalt picked up teenagers in her van and took them to her house where they were allowed to smoke marijuana and cigarettes, drink alcohol, and participate in inappropriate sexual behavior. Melissa also participated in sex acts with juveniles, Brooks said.

Both Robert and Cole also transported juveniles to and from the residence.  Robert Greenwalt witnessed the illegal activity but never intervened, while Cole Greenwalt is accused of participating in sex acts with underage juveniles.

Brooks said the children involved ranged in age from 12 to 16. At least 10 victims have come forward, but as many as 40 or more from Caddo, Bossier, and DeSoto parishes have visited the home in the past year.

Brooks said many of the children were at the Greenwalt home without their parents’ permission after sneaking out at night and being picked up by Melissa, or “Mama” as she asked to be called.  In other cases, Melissa misled parents by saying she was a homeschool teacher and asking that their children be allowed to come to her home to hang out with Cole and her 12-year-old daughter.

All three of the Greenwalts were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center. Melissa is charged with indecent behavior with juveniles, misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, felony contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, and possession of marijuana second offense. Her bond was set at $300,000.

Robert is charged with contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and possession of marijuana. His bond is $25,850.

Cole is charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. His bond is $75,000.
