A Shreveport woman was arrested for felony theft for stealing nearly $13,000 from her employer while working at a Youree Drive retail store, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Autumn Dollarhide, 30, of the 8000 block of Dixie Blanchard Hwy., was an employee at Red Wing Shoes from early 2012 to February 2014. She was responsible for handling the store’s deposits. In February, the owner of the store learned of a cash shortage from a deposit. A subsequent audit by Red Wing revealed a $12,821 loss since 2012.

Dollarhide was questioned about the missing money by Detective Doug Smith and as a result was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for theft.
