Juvenile Detention employees arrested for battery

Two security counselors at the Caddo Juvenile Detention Center were arrested on battery charges Friday for their treatment of juvenile inmates, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
The arrests involved separate cases. Allan Bigham Brown II, 29, of the 3700 block of Dilg League in Shreveport, was arrested on two counts of simple battery. Irma Jean Williams, 45, of the 300 block of John Wesley Blvd. in Bossier City, was arrested on one count of simple battery. Both were arrested by Sheriff’s Detective Dorothy Carter of the Youth Services Division.
Brown is accused of pinning a 15-year-old boy down, leaning on him with his weight, and pushing his elbows into the boy’s chest. The incident occurred on November 15. Brown was employed with CJDC for five years.
Williams is accused of slapping a 15-year-old boy in the mouth with the back of her hand on January 6. Williams was employed with the CJDC for eight years.
