Two arrested for aiding wanted man
JACOBE, ELIZABETH
CALHOUN, ZACHARY
Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said deputies have arrested two people as accessories in the search for Trent Lee Morgan, who is wanted for illegal behavior with a juvenile.
Morgan’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Elizabeth Marie Jacobe, and his brother, 20-year-old Zachary Andrew Calhoun, were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on Tuesday as accessories after the fact to the following crimes: indecent behavior with a juvenile, felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and pornography involving a juvenile
Sheriff’s Detective Jared Marshall said Jacobe and Morgan’s family were contacted by sheriff’s deputies on Monday when Morgan failed to turn himself in on an arrest warrant. They were instructed to notify the Sheriff’s Office if they heard from Morgan. On Monday night, Calhoun gave permission for Jacobe and Morgan to spend the night at his apartment at 2705 Stanberry in Shreveport. Jacobe met with Morgan again on Tuesday after she was re-contacted by detectives. Neither Jacobe nor Calhoun made any attempt to notify law enforcement after seeing the wanted man.
Morgan is accused of sending nude images of himself to a 15-year-old girl and receiving nude images of her on his cell phone. He's also accused of having an illegal sexual relationship with the girl. He was arrested on similar charges involving a different juvenile girl in February.
Morgan, 20, is 5’10, 145 lbs., and has blond hair and blue eyes. He lives in the 9400 block of Pitch Pine Drive but was last seen on foot in the Southern Hills area. He was dressed in a camouflage jacket and black pants.
The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who has information about his location to contact CPSO immediately at 675-2170.
