A Caddo Parish man wanted for attempted murder was arrested this past weekend in northeast Louisiana, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Keynon Frazier, 18, was arrested by Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies early Saturday morning in a hotel parking lot in Monroe. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center today.

Frazier was identified as one of the men involved in a shooting November 25 at a house in the 5400 block of Asbury Lane in Shreveport. Sheriff’s Detective Donnie Laney obtained an arrest warrant charging Frazier with attempted first-degree murder. Bond on the warrant was set at $300,000.

Detectives say the shooting occurred during a robbery involving drugs. Ricky Blomgren and Vincent Efferson were both injured in the shooting and have also been arrested on related charges.
