Caddo sheriff’s detectives arrested a Mooringsport man after finding numerous images of child pornography on his home computer, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

John Sylvester Brown III, 26, of 410 Francis Ave., was arrested on three counts of pornography involving juveniles. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on Friday following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Youth Services Division.

Detective Jared Marshall obtained a search warrant for computer equipment at Brown’s home. An investigation determined the equipment contained numerous deleted images and videos of child pornography. Investigators are continuing their review of the equipment that was seized.
