The Caddo Sheriff's Office is investigating after a vehicle struck a pedestrian Friday night, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Dylan Blaine, 16, died at University Health today from injuries received when he was hit by a Toyota while walking on Providence Road just before 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The driver of the Toyota was 19 year-old William Moulton of Shreveport. Moulton was leaving church when he struck the juvenile, who was in the roadway wearing dark clothing, according to Cpl. James Willis.

The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Traffic Safety Unit.
