A cashier at a local store was arrested for stealing $2,700 from the registers where he was assigned, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

An audit discovered the registers were short, and video surveillance footage showed the cashier removing money from the registers and placing the cash in his pockets. The thefts occurred between November 4 and 13.

Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Bobby Herring arrested 21-year-old Terrance Hoskins of the 3200 block of Lancaster for felony theft. Hoskins was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
