Three arrested for north Caddo Parish thefts
DILLON, MICHAEL
RAMSEY, JEFFREY
COLE, KYLE
Three men are behind bars after Caddo sheriff’s deputies shut down their stealing spree, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Kyle E. Cole, 28, and Michael B. Dillon, 24, both of Shreveport, and Jeffrey W. Ramsey, 21, of Mooringsport, were arrested by deputies following a month-long investigation into reports of stolen property on Soda Point Drive, West Henderson Gin, and LA Hwy. 169.
Nearly $15,000 in property was taken from outside residences in what detectives said were mainly crimes of opportunity. Items stolen included two motorcycles, tires and rims, generators, compressors, power tools, pressure washers, a paint sprayer, and lawn mowers.
Some of the property was recovered by detectives and patrol deputies during the investigation. Other items were either traded out of state or were sold on the street.
Detectives Matt Purgerson and Keith Fox booked Cole into Caddo Correctional Center on eight counts of theft. Dillon was booked on three counts of theft and illegal possession of stolen things, and Ramsey was booked on four counts of theft and one count of illegal possession of stolen things.
The three face additional charges by other agencies.
Assisting in the investigation were Deputies Chris Daniel, Ondray Miles, Chris Menard, James Norwood, Jeremy Edward, and Timothy Johns.
