A Shreveport man was arrested on 10 counts of pornography involving juveniles following an investigation by the Caddo Sheriff's Office, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

The Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the NWLA Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, was looking into online file sharing involving child pornography, which led them to a residence in the 400 block of Vine Street in Shreveport. Caddo Sheriff's Det. Jared Marshall obtained a search warrant for the residence and seized a desktop computer which held numerous videos of child pornography.

The computer belonged to Joshua James Brooks, 19, of the 8500 block of Range Lane in Shreveport. Brooks had been staying at the Vine Street residence and used the homeowner's internet connection to download the videos onto his personal computer.

Brooks was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for having juvenile pornography.
