Man arrested for stabbing brother
Thursday, July 25, 2013
A Hosston man is in jail today charged with stabbing his brother, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
Deputies were called to 15412 Christian Street in Hosston just after 10 p.m. Wednesday where Markieth Collins, 22, had been stabbed three times. He was taken to North Caddo Hospital in Vivian for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses said Jeffery Jackson stabbed his brother during a domestic argument. Deputies found Jackson later asleep at a home on Hale School Road. He was taken into custody by Detective Donnie Laney, Cpl. William Manchester, and Deputy Devin Pickett.
Jackson, 33, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for aggravated second-degree battery.
