Two arrested for operating meth lab

Two people were arrested after a search of their residence at 1104 St. Vincent in Shreveport uncovered ingredients used to make meth.
Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Street Level Interdiction Unit conducted the search on Tuesday, May 29. When they arrived at the house, a man and woman fled but were quickly detained at the rear of the residence. Chemicals and components of a meth lab were located on the second floor during a search of the residence.
A chemical disposal company was called to the scene to take custody of the chemicals. The suspects, identified as William McDonald and Kami Thorn, were booked into the Shreveport City Jail for Operation of a Clandestine Lab.
